DBHDS Criminal Justice Peer Support Survey
April 5, 2021

The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, Office of Recovery Services has partnered with SAFE Project, a national non-profit organization, to develop a Forensic Peer Endorsement Training Program specifically for the expansion of the Virginia Peer Workforces’ knowledge, skills and abilities when working with justice-involved individuals.

We are currently in Phase I of development and are conducting a training needs assessment and value your input! A training needs assessment plays a critical role in any new program development and will allow us to gauge the gap between knowledge that is already held and what still needs to be learned.

To gauge your knowledge, we are asking all peer support specialists to complete a questionnaire consisting of 20 multiple choice questions. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete and will close on April 19th, 2021. To access the survey, CLICK HERE.
