Job: Peer Support Specialist – Piedmont Community Services – Stuart

Position will provide peer recovery support services to individuals receiving behavioral health and/or substance abuse crisis intervention services in Patrick County, VA. The peer support specialist will provide outreach, support, and advocacy to assist individual to access recovery supports, behavioral health treatment and community resources to improve the individual’s quality of life. The applicant must have lived experience in regards to receiving behavioral health services. The applicant must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record. A high school diploma or GED is required. Salary is based on education & experience as it relates to the position.
