Job Description:
BeBold Recovery is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) to join our outpatient team in Norfolk. In this role, you will provide 1:1 peer support services to individuals recovering from substance use and/or mental health challenges.
You will assist clients with:
Transportation coordination
Housing referrals and application support
Developing personal recovery goals
Community reintegration and self-advocacy

Responsibilities:
Conduct one-on-one peer support sessions (15-minute billable units)
Help clients access housing, transportation, and social services
Document daily interactions and progress notes
Collaborate with clinical and case management staff
Participate in weekly supervision meetings
Required Qualifications:
Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) in Virginia
Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable and compassionate with strong boundaries
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an outpatient or recovery setting
Familiarity with Medicaid-billable services and documentation
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate ($14–$20/hr
Internship or Paid Role: Both
