FSP of VA is hiring in different areas statewide. If you are a parent/guardian with lived experience navigating the systems of care with a child and are interested in this position, please be sure that you meet each of the requirements below:
- Parent/Guardian of a youth(s)who were or are involved in the systems of care (school, social services, legal system, residential placement, community and behavioral health providers, hospitalization, etc.)
- Knowledge of navigating these systems
- Willingness to be transparent by utilizing strategic self-disclosure
- Effective communication, documentation, and advocacy skills
- In a place in their own journey of healing to utilize personal lived experience to support other families
- To complete all required and suggested trainings.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
